Pond Hideaway was built in April 2024 and sits just beside the Secret Pond, 3 minutes walk from the main barn. It is a unique tent with a mezzanine bed 2m up in amongst the trees. There is also a sofa bed, so in total it sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. A compost loo and LPG shower sit closeby. The beds are provided, but you will need to bring sleeping bags and towels as well as cooking equipment. A firepit is supplied, along with picnic bench and deck chairs.
This unique space looks out towards Pilsdon and across the Marshwood Vale. All off-grid, this space is truly special. Cars are parked just the other side of the pond, and a trolley provided to carry your luggage. There is also a solar panel that ensures you have light in the tent.
Walk across a couple of fields to our camping field, where you're welcome to use the facilities, including a day room with washing machine, microwave and plugs. There are also three family washrooms. Nearby Purcombe Barn houses a small tea room, with cakes, teas and coffees and ice creams.
£95 per night (2 adults and 2 children maximum); minimum 1-night stay.
