Accessibility Guide to Coppet Hill Camping and Glamping

Welcome

Coppet Hill is an award-winning family run campsite just three miles from the Jurassic Coast. Surrounded by some of Dorset's most spectacular hills, our 600-acre working farm is a peaceful haven for walkers, campers and wildlife lovers.
There is a mixture of camping and glamping spread across the farm. The shower block has 3 large hot shower rooms, a flushing loo and a day room equipped with a washing machine, fridge, freezer and washing up sinks and phone charging points.
The Purcombe Barn is the hub and here you will find the Reception as well as a basic honesty shop and games for the wet days - pool, table tennis and table football as well as the popular lego corner and board games.

Level Access
There is level access into the barn and to the flushing loo just near the barn which is suitable for visitors with mobility needs. The Shower block has one shower fitted with a handrail and seat and level access.

Site Layout
There are two adjacent fields with 13 camping pitches - each having its own compost loo, picnic bench, firepit and drinking water supply. There are two further pitches Oak Hideaway and Pond Hideaway that are further away and have their own shower as well as loo. Pond Hideaway also has a tent with a mezzanine bed and sofa bed.
Orchard Hideaway is new for 2025 and is the only camping pitch that you can drive up to and is purely for guest with mobility needs or for families with neurodiverse children who may need their own space. It is situated just 50m from the accessible loo.

There are 3 individual glamping sites in different parts of the farm;
Churchay Lotus Belle Tent is reached by driving along a short bumpy track and then a 20m walk to the tent. There is a step up into the tent. It has its own shower and compost loo situated in a shed with a small step.
Little Coppet Landpod is reached by driving up a bumpy track, then a short 200m walk to the Landpod which has 3 steps into it. Again is has its own shower and compost loo situated in a shed with a small step.
Two Hoots Landpod is reached by driving through a field [if the ground is very wet then guests need to park at the entrance to the field and walk 500m across it]. With a 75m walk round the pond on a boardwalk up to the Landpod which again has 3 steps into it. The shower and loo are the same as the other glamping units mentioned above.
