Quiet Camping Field
Our family-friendly Quiet Camping Field is home to just 14 spacious and secluded pitches.
You're surrounded by wildlife, and wide-open spaces to explore.
Each pitch accommodates up to four adults and four children, prices from £60 per night
Open May – September
Camping with Nature
Our 600-acre family farm is a haven for wildlife. The camping field is surrounded by traditional hedgerows and ancient oak trees: you’ll see deer grazing, raptors soaring overhead, and fall asleep to the hoots of tawny owls.
Family-Friendly Camping
Each pitch is large enough to accommodate two family tents (max. 8 people), with its own compost loo. Between the pitches and pathways, we've allowed nature to take over - offering plenty of privacy, and a home for wildlife.
Accessible Camping
New for 2025 we have launched Orchard Hideaway, a camping pitch you can drive right up to, specifically for campers with mobility troubles or for families with neurodiverse children who just need their own space.
Facilities
- Compost loo hut on every pitch
- Hot showers in the Old Dairy (adjacent to field)
- Day Room with washing up, fridge, microwave, kettle, freezer, washing machine & phone charging
- Picnic bench on every pitch
- Water standpipe on every pitch
- Electric Car Charging
- Firepits (with cooking grill) provided; home-grown firewood & local charcoal available to buy. Please do not use disposable barbecues.
Cars & Dogs
So you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, we don't allow cars on the camping field. There's a luggage drop-off point at the entrance, where you can borrow a wheelbarrow to carry your kit, before parking up a short distance away.
To give wildlife a chance to flourish, we don't allow dogs. There's also no music on site - who needs it when you have hedgerows bursting with songbirds?!
Price
£60-75 per pitch per night
Each pitch is large enough to accommodate two family tents or 3 smaller tents (maximum 4 adults)
Dates
The Quiet Camping Fields are open from May to September.
