Just three miles from the Jurassic Coast, and surrounded by some of Dorset’s most spectacular hills, our 600-acre family farm is a peaceful haven for walking, wildlife, and watching the world go by!
Stay in our luxury Lotus Belle tent, tucked away in a quiet, private meadow. Lie back and gaze at the Milky Way whilst enjoying a soak in a wood-fired bath. Or perhaps you’ll choose an off-grid adventure in a Landpod, with only owls and badgers for company.
Just eleven secluded pitches scattered across a twelve-acre field - it's easy to find a peaceful home in our camping meadow. Enjoy the sunsets, the tranquility, and strolls to the pub! Each pitch can accommodate two family tents, and has its own compost loo.
With 8 miles of nature trails, bridleways and footpaths for you to explore, Coppet Hill is a walker’s paradise! Explore the bluebell woods, wildlife ponds and quiet fields, or head up the hills for breathtaking views of Lyme Bay and the ancient hillforts of the Marshwood Vale. And if the coast is calling, you can walk the smugglers' paths which wind their way to the sea.
The farm is a haven for wildlife - from nesting hobbies and sparrowhawks, to the families of deer who wander in the woods. Our ponds are buzzing with dragonflies, and after dark you'll enjoy the hoots of our tawny owls.
Kids will love the wilder side of our farm - get muddy in the woods, explore the secret pathways, get lost in the sunflowers, and see what you can catch at one of our wildlife ponds.
Our family has been custodians of this land for seven decades. We manage the land sustainably and responsibly, with an aim to encourage biodiversity, improve our soil's health, and care for the environment. We offer our visitors a unique connection with farming, the landscape and nature.
